Lucifer #24
In "The Writing on the Wall," a young centaur named Esa-Kira bears a haunting vision of Lucifer’s future and journeys through one of his gateways to Los Angeles, leaving behind a painted warning of an impending battle with the Basanos. Years later, returning to find her people enslaved and her village transformed, she fights to reclaim her home—only to confront Lucifer himself, who dismisses her message with quiet finality. Written by Mike Carey and illustrated by Dean Ormston, with colors by Daniel Vozzo and letters by Comicraft, this issue’s striking cover by Christopher Moeller captures the weight of prophecy and loss.
