“Breaking & Entering”

In "Breaking & Entering," Mike Carey and Dean Ormston deliver a haunting, atmospheric tale as fallen cherubs Gaudium and Spera risk everything to revive Elaine Belloc by stealing the mummified remains of the forgotten Goddess Eriti from the Sleeper. With Michael’s cryptic warning echoing in the shadows, the fragile hope of resurrection collides with the chilling truth that even divine relics may not hold the power to bring back the dead. Christopher Moeller’s striking cover captures the weight of this desperate mission.

In an attempt to bring Elaine Belloc back to life, fallen cherubs Gaudium and Spera steal the mummified corpse of the Goddess Eriti from the Sleeper. Gaudium tells Spera that it was Michael who sent him to protect his daughter, Elaine Belloc, in defiance of Yahweh. They present the corpse to Michael who tells them Eriti does not have the power to resurrect Elaine.
