Eric Wight (born November 15, 1974) is an American writer, illustrator, and animator. He is best known for his work as an artist on a range of high-profile comic book series, including *Justice League of America*, *Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight*, and *Hellboy: Weird Tales*. He also contributed to *Michael Chabon Presents: The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist* and *DC Universe*. Wight’s clean, expressive style and strong storytelling made him a sought-after collaborator on these ensemble titles, where he often handled penciling, inking, and coloring duties.

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, Wight later served as Director of Epic! Originals at the children’s digital reading platform Epic. He lives in Winter Garden, Florida, with his wife and children. His active period in comics spanned from 2003 to 2021, and while he has not received major industry awards, his contributions to both superhero and licensed properties have earned him a steady place in the field. Wight’s work remains notable for its versatility across genres and formats, from mainstream DC superheroes to the darker fantasy of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy universe.
