The Legion #32
In "Notorious," the Legion faces a chilling new threat as M'Onel returns from the second galaxy with news that Credo—believing Livewire to be the Progenitor—are determined to erase all traces of the Progenitor, including the Legion's own galaxy. With tensions escalating and peace talks failing, the Legion must confront Credo's leader, Singularity, while Livewire makes a desperate offer to save their captured comrades. Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, with dynamic art by Chris Batista and inks by Chip Wallace and Jay Leisten, and a striking cover by Eric Wight, this 2004 issue delivers high-stakes tension and moral complexity in the heart of the Legion's ongoing struggle.

M'Onel returns from the second galaxy followed by members of Credo, who, thinking Livewire is the Progenitor, flee. M'Onel reports that the rest of his mission is being held by Credo, which wants to wipe out all traces of the Progenitor, including the Legion's galaxy. The Legion heads out in force to talk with Credo and their leader Singularity, but to no avail. When they return to Legion World, Livewire offers to give himself over to Credo, but the Legion refuses. He surrenders himself anyway, but Singularity declares that rather than trade Livewire for the hostages, they will kill them all.
