In the 20th century, Clark Kent is taken by the Legion founders; in the 31st century, the Legionnaires are preparing for Foundation Day celebrating the founding of the Legion. After Kid Quantum addresses the crowd, which includes the first class of the Legion Cadet Program, Cosmic Boy joins other Legionnaires on Braal dealing with a decaying stargate. There, Apparition discovers her mother, President Wazzo has recovered Superboy. When Cosmic Boy returns to Legion World, he and Saturn Girl come face to face with Element Lad. Meanwhile, Clark Kent discovers that he has been taken to Apokolips.
