“New World Order”

In "New World Order," the fallout from last week’s revelations unfolds as Gotham PD confronts the shocking discovery of Alex Luthor’s body—altered to resemble Lex. With Power Girl pushed back from Kahndaq by Black Adam, and Lex Luthor reemerging with a full-scale propaganda campaign, the heroes face new threats from both within and beyond the law. Written by Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, and Mark Waid, with art by Keith Giffen and Joe Bennett, and a striking cover by J. G. Jones, this issue deepens the shifting balance of power in a world where heroes and villains alike are redefining their roles.

Week three opens with the Gotham PD discovering the body of Alex Luthor, altered to look like Lex. Power Girl is warned out of Kahndaq air space by Black Adam as she chases Terra Man. Steel puts his parental duties on hold as S.T.A.R. Labs contacts him about GCPD's discovery. Booster has an endorsement taken out from under him. Lex resurfaces in full spin control mode. Black Adam rebuffs advances by Intergang and shows the world how he believes heroes should act, in his own violent way.
