Superman, Booster Gold, Fire and Ice try to recruit Professor Bennett for the ongoing fight against Eclipso, but he is too depressed to help. Superman goes to turn himself over to Eclipso for possession in order to free the town Eclipso is holding hostage. Booster, Fire and Ice go and recruit Professor Hamilton and Lex Luthor to help. Captain Marvel battles the possessed Superman to buy time for the others to free the town, but Superman continues to be controlled by Eclipso.
