The microwave killer strikes again, cooking a beautiful woman from the inside out. Sara is hospitalized and visited by Jake and Joe who are worried about her and have questions about the encounter at Kenneth Irons' tournament that left her partner, Michael Yee, dead. The Triads send an assassin to kill Irons for the deaths of their men but Nottingham dispatches the killer. Irons puts Nottingham through a painful ceremony to make him immune to the power of the Witchblade. Sara leaves the hospital to recover the Witchblade and tries to use it to raise Michael from the dead, but fails.
