Atomic Mouse uses his super strength to save a broken-down train and deliver free balloons to children in Mouseville. In a separate story titled "Teachers for L.A.," Atomic Mouse and his friends Count Gatto and Shadow discover there is a teacher shortage in Mouseville and volunteer to help by traveling to Los Angeles to recruit teachers, though Atomic Mouse remains skeptical about trusting the two cats to keep their word.
