Batman: Creature of the Night #1
In *Batman: Creature of the Night #1* ("Book One: I Shall Become..."), young Bruce Wainwright—named after the Dark Knight and haunted by the murder of his parents—finds himself drawn into a dark mystery when a mysterious Bat Creature begins stalking criminals and hunting the killer behind his family's tragedy. Written by Kurt Busiek and brought to life with moody, atmospheric art by John Paul Leon (pencils, inks, and colors), this haunting origin reimagines Bruce’s descent into vengeance through a surreal, dreamlike lens. The cover by John Paul Leon captures the eerie, brooding tone of a story where legend and loss blur into something far more personal.
