"Trail of Vengeance" follows a Native American chief's daughter, Water Lily, who seeks the black stallion Black Fury to settle a marriage dispute; her father will give her to Chief Red Wolf only if she brings him the legendary stallion. Del, a woman who loves a man named Tom Crow, learns that Tom was a gunman killed in a confrontation, and she becomes entangled in the search for Black Fury. Wild Bill Hickok becomes involved when he encounters Del and the outlaws pursuing the black stallion, leading to a violent confrontation where Jingles, one of the pursuers, is shot and killed during the chaos.
