Cable #11
In "Wasteland Blues Part One," Cable and Hope—now seven years old—awaken in a desolate future where all life has vanished, the aftermath of a desperate human last stand against an alien roach invasion. With Cable weakened and Hope grappling with her uncertain past, their search for hope in a dead world takes a desperate turn. Written by Duane Swierczynski and brought to life by Ariel Olivetti’s dynamic art and Jamie McKelvie’s sharp inks, the issue’s haunting tone is heightened by Guru eFX’s evocative colors and Virtual Calligraphy’s precise lettering. The cover by Ariel Olivetti captures the grim isolation of their new reality.
