Conan #2/1984
In "Trollkarlens amulett," the young Conan breaks into the tower of the sorcerer Hisarr Zul, drawn by whispers of the legendary amulet known as Erlik's Eye. There, he finds himself entangled with Ajhindar, a royal agent from Iranistan, and the mysterious Isparana and Karamek, who serve the rightful heir, the khan of Zamboula. When Hisarr Zul traps Conan’s soul in a mirror and commands him to reclaim the amulet, the hunt begins — and the young thief must navigate betrayal and magic to survive. Written by Roy Thomas, Andrew J. Offutt, and Anders Eklund, with art by John Buscema and Rudy Nebres, and a cover by Earl Norem, this 1984 Semic release captures Conan at his most cunning and vulnerable.
