District X #9
In "Underground 3 of 6," Bishop and Izzy set aside their differences to investigate a series of brutal murders at a hospital during a citywide blackout. When a second blackout strikes, a worm-like mutant resurfaces—hunting those who abandoned him, driven by a past he can't forget. Written by David Hine and illustrated by Lan Medina, with colors by Digital Rainbow and letters by Richard Starkings, Jimmy Betancourt, and Comicraft, this issue deepens the mystery of the creature's origin while keeping the tension tight and the stakes rising. The cover by Tom Raney and Scott Hanna captures the eerie, shadowed intensity of the underground threat.
