Oct 2004 · DC · 2.50 USD; 3.85 CAD
“Fifth Gear”

In "Fifth Gear," Joe Kelly and Ted McKeever deliver a pulse-pounding chapter of Enginehead, where Ford joins Sam in Leadbelly and finally tracks down Roy Lincoln, the Human Bomb—only to find a mystery deeper than he expected. As the Mechanic and Doctor Grass unite to stop Enginehead through the Electrocutioner, strange forces pull more people toward Leadbelly, including Arturo’s mistress, while Enginehead defies the Great Plan by saving a trucker’s life, sparking a shattering realization: he may be the flaw the machine was built to correct. The cover by Ted McKeever captures the tension with stark, kinetic energy.
