Johnny and Side-Pocket Slim examine the contents of the briefcase belonging to the woman they believe has amnesia. They discover a cache of perfumes belonging to her, all labeled "Lady Mist". Side-Pocket opens one, sniffs it, and immediately has an extreme reaction, suspecting it contains poison gas. The woman has been feigning amnesia. Undiscovered by Johnny and Side-Pocket, the briefcase has a hidden compartment, where a gas mask is stored. Miles away sea pirate Captain Gore and his crew devise a plan to deal with Johnny and Side-Pocket, aided by Lady Mist, who is a partner in his scheme.
