In combat with Captain Gore it looks like Johnny is about to be strangled until Lady Mist fires upon Gore and Hazard is released. Johnny thanks her, only to be pistol-whipped into unconsciousness. When he awakens Mist and Gore are gone, but Brandy and Slim arrive. Slim soon departs, with Brandy chasing a new story, Johnny in tow. Seems a "Major" Risk was hired to train local troops until it's discovered he's a phony, his papers forged. Now he's trapped on a mountain with a gang of bandit terrorists with government troops in pursuit, and soon Brandy and Johnny are off to meet this "Major" Risk.
