“Justice League of America: Another Nail”

In "Justice League of America: Another Nail," Alan Davis crafts a gripping mystery as the JLA investigates strange temporal and spatial distortions linked to a failing Oan lantern battery and the rumored destruction of Darkseid. With Green Lantern’s account of the fallen New God’s failed power grab, the team races to uncover the source of the anomalies—leading Big Barda and Mister Miracle to the enigmatic Limbo-Cell. Alan Davis, handling both art and writing with Mark Farmer’s inks and John Kalisz’s colors, delivers a visually rich, tension-filled story that builds toward a high-stakes confrontation. The cover by Davis and Farmer captures the eerie, otherworldly tone of the issue.

Green Lantern tells the JLA how Darkseid was destroyed when he tried to amass great power into a device of his own creation, which may be connected to the Oan lantern battery recently losing power. While heroes search for evidence of New God activity, they encounter several mysterious time and space anomalies. After Amazo's body is stolen, Big Barda and Mister Miracle learn that all the anomalies have their cause in the Limbo-Cell, which is absorbing all the power of existence. Oliver Queen, now in Amazo's body, delivers Darkseid’s device into the heart of the Limbo-Cell, destroying it.
