Little Audrey features two main stories. In the first story, Audrey creates an escalator ride using a staircase and charges two pennies per ride, but the scheme ends in disaster when the escalator crashes. In the second story, titled "Sarge," a military man with a broken wheel asks Audrey to repair it; Audrey cleverly fixes it by filling it with sand instead of air, earning the soldier's gratitude. The issue concludes with a touching domestic story in which Audrey's Aunty must leave for dinner but reluctantly departs when Audrey insists she cannot stay, though her Aunty ultimately remains after Audrey's mother promises ice cream if she stays the night.
