Audrey dreams of becoming a famous woman of history, convinced she can achieve greatness by inventing a new alarm clock and a revolutionary food—only to face a series of mishaps, from sickening her friend Patch to accidentally ruining a movie scene. As she tries to prove herself through daring feats and inventions, her well-intentioned plans keep backfiring, leaving her frustrated and covered in mud, flour, and splattered water. Despite the chaos, she remains determined to make her mark—though her mother’s firm hand and the mess she’s made may have other plans.

Little Audrey refuses to wear petticoats, claiming they’re too bulky, but her mother insists she dress properly—leading to a comical misadventure where Audrey imagines herself in the wilds of the frontier, surrounded by chickens and "Indians" she believes are attacking. As she struggles through layers of petticoats and hoops, she dramatically fends off the imagined threat—only to be rescued by her mother, who reveals the whole thing was a playful fantasy.

Little Audrey sets up a whimsical weather bureau on her roof, using a rooster as a weather vane and enlisting her pets to help collect "rain" for her rain barrel. As she waits for the promised downpour of cats and dogs, her imaginative forecast leads to a chaotic and hilarious cascade of animals tumbling into the barrel—leaving her to declare, with delight, that her prediction has come true.

In "Strike It Rich," Little Audrey sets out on a butterfly hunt with her classmates, determined to win the prize lollipop despite Sarge's dismissive remarks about girls. When she accidentally chases a bee and later claims a giant butterfly, her antics take an unexpected turn when she unknowingly finds Mrs. Van Huppius's lost poodle, earning a cash reward instead.
