T'Challa manages to free himself from the animal trap just as he is attacked by the guard dog. T'Challa kills the dog and makes his way to Anton Pretorius' house. Spotting Pretorius and his mother, Ramonda, on a balcony, T'Challa is confronted by Elmer Gore. The two battle and Gore begins to drown T'Challa in Pretorius' pool.
