Marvel Heroes Extra #2
In "Dark Reign: Œil de Faucon (1)," Hawkeye is thrust into a brutal confrontation with an army of Bullseyes, surviving only to face the enigmatic Solo—who delivers him to Kingmaker, his long-lost father. Written by Andy Diggle and Jérôme Wicky, with art by Tom Raney and inks by Scott Hanna, this gripping tale unfolds with a chilling twist: Kingmaker’s plan to transfer his mind into Lester’s body is thwarted by Hawkeye’s adamantium-laced bones, which block the neural inhibitor. The cover, by Clint Langley, captures the intensity of this high-stakes showdown.

Hawkeye faces an army of Bullseyes and takes them all out except for the last one, the merc known as Solo. Solo captures Hawkeye and brings him to face the mysterious Kingmaker, Hawkeye's father (whom he left to face a fiery death during their last encounter). Kingmaker prepares to trade his old burned husk of a body for his son's by placing his brain in Lester's body. Unfortunately, no one told him that Hawkeye's bones are laced with adamantium which, not only is impossible to cut, but also blocks Kingmaker's neural inhibitor.
