Marvel Masterworks: The Sub-Mariner #1
In "In Mortal Combat with... Sub-Mariner!", the mighty Namor finds himself caught in a web of deception when the Army hunts him for a crime he didn’t commit—his mind manipulated by the Puppet Master. Seeking refuge in the Hudson River, he’s drawn into a dangerous surface-world mission when Lady Dorma arrives to warn him: the ancient Behemoth has awakened and threatens Atlantis. Written by Stan Lee and brought to life with bold art by Adam Austin and inks by Bill Everett, this gripping tale blends underwater intrigue with high-stakes action, all wrapped in a striking cover by Gene Colan and Vince Colletta.
