Rubin Hayes, a con man with a shady past, finds himself entangled in a scheme when he sells a mine to Les Wilcox, a mild-mannered lawyer who may not be as harmless as he seems. As Hayes tries to sabotage Wilcox’s efforts to mine gold, the truth behind the worthless mine begins to unravel—revealing a clever ruse that puts both men on a collision course with danger and deception.

Wild Bill Hickok tracks a gang of outlaws who escaped from jail using dynamite, setting a trap by luring them into a box-canyon hideout and using a swarm of bees to force their surrender. As the fugitives flee the stinging chaos, Hickok confronts them one by one, using cunning and quick draw to bring them back to town.

In "Tightrope of Fear," the Masked Raider narrowly escapes capture by Cap Lewitt and the Grundy Brothers, fleeing across a collapsing rope bridge only to be rescued by his loyal horse, White Star.
