Meet Merton #11

Merton tricks Marcia into helping him order a $5,000 mink coat and a diamond ring from two stores, pretending his phone is disconnected—only to realize too late that the phone is still working and the deliveries are already on their way. When the mink coat arrives at his house, Merton panics, fearing his mother will think it’s a gift from his father, and he and Marcia race to return it before the bill arrives. The chaos escalates when Marcia accidentally wins the very mink coat as a door prize at her women’s club meeting—only to discover it’s her own old muskrat coat.

Merton is forced to babysit his two young cousin sisters, Sue and Sandra, just as he’d planned to spend the evening bowling with his friend Calories. As the boys try to keep the energetic twins entertained, their attempts at distraction—like letting them play with the television—backfire in chaotic, hilarious ways.

Merton and Marcia, rivals in a school magazine election, find themselves tied after campaigning for a humor magazine and a fashion magazine, respectively. When their teacher announces a joint fashion-and-humor magazine with them as co-editors, their competitive streak flares as they clash over credit and control.

Pat and Mike, a pair of teenage twins, find themselves caught in a chaotic mix-up when Mike is forced to impersonate a girl to join a secret school club, leading to a series of awkward and hilarious misunderstandings with classmates, teachers, and even his own sister. As Mike struggles to maintain the ruse, Pat’s attempts to help only make things worse, all while a mysterious “initiation” looms over the school.
