Meet Merton

A short-lived but charmingly oddball series from I. W. Publishing / Super Comics, Meet Merton ran for only three issues between 1958 and 1963. Chronicling the misadventures of its titular character, the comic was most frequently illustrated by the reliable hand of artist Dave Berg. While brief, the series offers a curious snapshot of late-1950s/early-1960s humor comics, capturing a slice of the era's lighthearted, gag-driven style.
