In "Saucer-itis," a man's strange behavior—muttering about flying saucers and acting out of step with everyone else—has made him the town's laughingstock. But as his oddities grow more pronounced, it becomes clear his madness might be a carefully crafted act, one that hides a truth far stranger than anyone suspects.

In "The Strange One," a lone man stumbles ashore on a desolate island, only to discover the ruins of a forgotten futuristic city. As he flees from unseen voices echoing through empty streets, he begins to realize the impossible—something is watching him, though he can’t see it.

In "They Say It Really Happened," two prospectors stumble upon a meteorite brimming with diamonds, only to be gunned down by the landowner in a violent clash. As the dust settles, two strangers arrive, dismiss the scene as worthless, and walk away—leaving behind a meteorite that suddenly splits open. From within, a winged space traveler emerges, his mechanical chest housing a box, and declares the rock his own, claiming he journeyed all the way from Jupiter to deliver it.
