Punisher War Journal by Carl Potts and Jim Lee #[nn]
In "An Eye for an Eye Chapter One Sunday in the Park," Frank Castle is sent to Africa on a bizarre dinosaur-hunting expedition by Micro, hoping to pull him away from the city’s war on crime. When gorillas are slaughtered during the trip, the Punisher’s hunt turns deadly—only to collide with Wolvie, who’s tracking a poaching ring and mistakes Frank for the killer. With tensions high and both men armed to the teeth, the jungle becomes a battleground of suspicion and blood. Written by Carl Potts and illustrated by a dynamic duo of Potts and Jim Lee, this issue blends gritty action with a tense, primal clash in the wild, all rendered with striking detail and color by Gregory Wright and Jim Novak. The cover, by Jim Lee and Klaus Janson, captures the raw intensity of the moment.
