Holden has a series of meetings with Jones to determine how he will be able to end his undercover mission working for Tao. At the same time, Tao is searching for his mole and targets Jones with double agent Caruthers of the CIA. Jones is captured and interrogated by Caruthers before Holden kills Caruthers and frees Jones, who dies during the escape.
