Tai is trying her hardest to sacrifice the Warriors to the Well of All Things in order to gain the ultimate power of the Dragon's Breadth but the Warriors and the Folding Circle team up to stop her. Tai reveals to Thrasher that she was controlling Chord when he gunned down Thrash's parents. Even this revelation doesn't make things any easier when Night Thrasher is forced to kill Tai to save his friends and stop her madness. Back at home, Vance's trial concludes and he is convicted of negligent homicide in the death of his father and sentenced to prison.
