Dreaming, Krill hears the voice of her great-grandmother and their origin. She awakes a prisoner of Senator Kenneally, who wants her secrets. She bites him and is tossed in the Reject Tank with a giant crab. She assumes fish abilities and fights it. Captain Early and Krill's scientist friends hook up with Nishakowa Industries, an old business partner. They get the Nayad, an ancient/advanced submarine. Hotshot techs and SEALs raid Kenneally's HQ. Krill almost kills Kenneally, but he escapes. She picks up a gun and vows to finish the Ange de Mer's long battle.
