After delaying the Legion's efforts to save the inhabitants of Mordan, the Fatal Five regroup on Tharok's ship. The Legion mounts a sneak attack on the ship and tricks Tharok into revealing where the control for the device causing the star to go nova is. But when the Fatal Five is subdued, Tharok causes the ship to self-destruct. The Legion escapes the ship, leaving the Fatal Five behind, but Superboy is certain they will meet them again.
