Michael Netzer was born on 9 October 1955. An American-Israeli artist, he made his mark in the 1970s with steady work for both DC Comics and Marvel Comics. His credits as a penciler and inker span over fifty issues, with notable runs on *Huntress*, *The Avengers*, and *Detective Comics*, as well as *Green Arrow*, *Babylon 5*, and *Démon*. Netzer’s style, refined in the Bronze Age of comics, brought a crisp, expressive line to superhero and adventure stories.
