In "Last Stand of New Krypton, Part Three: Destiny," Superman fights for survival aboard Brainiac’s ship, held captive by the villain and Lex Luthor. With Mon-El pushing through the ship’s defenses guided by the Lanothians and Tellus, a desperate rescue unfolds when Superman breaks free—only to face Luthor’s chilling threat to destroy one of the bottled cities. Just as the moment hangs in the balance, Mon-El arrives in time to save the city, and the two heroes unite to confront Brainiac’s growing army.

In the climactic fifth chapter of *Last Stand of New Krypton*, Superman races to save a city of telepaths from Brainiac’s grasp, only to be ambushed mid-rescue and dragged aboard the villain’s ship—where he’s soon joined by the Legion of Super-Heroes.
