“Revival of the Fittest, Part Two”

In "Revival of the Fittest, Part Two," Brainiac 5 uncovers a chilling truth: Ra's al Ghul’s life force is bound to his blood, and when M'Onel realizes he inadvertently revealed the location of Ra's cloned bodies, the Legion must race to stop the clones from turning against them. With Shikari tracking the one clone holding Ra's essence, the stakes rise as the villain makes a shocking choice—surrendering not out of fear, but to demand respect, and in turn helping stabilize Sensor in an unexpected way. Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, with art by Alejandro Barrionuevo and inks by Andy Lanning and Simon Coleby, this 2003 DC issue features a cover by Kev Walker.

Brainiac 5 deduces that Ra's al Ghul’s life force now exists in his blood. When M'Onel realizes he told Ra's where his cloned bodies were stored, he and Star Boy head to the bank, but find all the clones animated. While the Legionnaires subdue the clones, Shikari tracks down the one with the villain's life force. Just when it seems Ra's has successfully used Shikari to make his escape, he turns himself over to M'Onel, declaring he has made his point and doesn't want to be forever pursued by his enemies, just respected. In return, he helps stabilize Sensor, though in a very different form.
