The Three Stooges #23
In "The Case of the Soreheaded Sorcerer," the Three Stooges find themselves as stable boys in a medieval castle, left unpaid after the treasury vanishes. With no money and a mystery on their hands, they track the thief to a sorcerer’s castle, where Curly Joe’s clumsy experiments with wizardry—including a failed invisibility serum—lead to chaos. The story, illustrated by Sparky Moore, blends slapstick and fantasy in a lighthearted adventure where even magic can’t keep the Stooges from their true calling: tending to angry war horses.
