The Tick #11
In "Two Strange Warm Men and the City of Their Dreams," the Tick and Arthur finally reach New York City—only to discover it's overrun by super heroes, each more absurd than the last. Written and illustrated by Ben Edlund, with inks by Jeff Whiting and letters by Bob Polio, this 1992 issue delivers the signature surreal humor of the series as the Tick faces off against a rival who claims the same name. The cover, penciled by Edlund and inked by Whiting, captures the chaos perfectly.

The Tick and Arthur finally make it to New York City only to find it is completely overpopulated by super heroes. They meet Agrippa who takes them to his favorite club. While Arthur is forced to hang out in the sidekick's lounge, Agrippa introduces the Tick to some of his colleagues. Unfortunately, one of his colleagues is violent, crazy and also calling himself the Tick. The Tick battles the Tick for the rights to use the name and, wouldn't you know it, the Tick wins.
