Tom Mix Western #49

Tom Mix encounters a dangerous criminal named Hoot Mondy who has stolen gold and killed a man named Clem. When Mondy is badly hurt, Tom takes him to Doc Greene, but Mondy escapes and flees town on horseback. Tom and his allies pursue Mondy, eventually discovering that the town undertaker Dave Herbert has been involved in the scheme. The story concludes with Tom tracking down Mondy and bringing the criminals to justice.
