Turok, Son of Stone #7

When Chief Nahunk lashes out at Ski-Yu for chewing his axe handle, Turok and Andar choose to leave the mesa to avoid further conflict. Their journey leads them through a hidden cave into a new canyon, where Ski-Yu’s quick instincts save a stone-age woman and her child from a curious Stegosaurus. Grateful, the woman’s tribe offers food as a gesture of friendship, forging a new bond in the wild.

When a sudden cloudburst floods Lotor’s den, he leads his family through the storm, dodging dinosaurs in the wild. With quick thinking and courage, he fends off one beast while the family flees the other. Safe at last, Mother raccoon chooses a sturdy tree with a high, dry hole—her final verdict: “The prize apartment this time! No floods can drown it. No snoopy reptiles can crawl inside!”

In "The Angry River," Turok, Andar, and their dog Ski-Yu race to protect the mesa people after a T-Rex ambushes their water carriers. When a sudden flash-flood crashes down the gorge, it swallows the bridge, the war-party, and the prehistoric threat—leaving Turok and Andar to face the storm’s aftermath with only the quiet of the wild to guide them.
