Weird Fantasy #13
In "Am I Man or Machine?", scientist Steve pushes the limits of invention when a visit from a future traveler thrusts him into a distant era to aid a crucial machine—only to return with a fragment of its design. Over ten years, he painstakingly rebuilds the device, driven by curiosity and ambition, until his creation finally comes to life with a revelation that leaves him—and readers—stunned. Written by Bill Gaines and Al Feldstein, with art by Harry Harrison and inks by Wally Wood, and featuring a striking cover by Al Feldstein, this 1950 EC classic blends sci-fi wonder with a chilling existential twist.
