“Swan's Song”

In "Swan's Song," writer James Robinson and artist Emanuela Lupacchino explore a poignant chapter in Wonder Woman’s past, revealing how a young Vanessa Kapatelis’ life intersected with Diana’s during a moment of crisis. As Diana balances her duties and personal grief, her fading presence leaves Vanessa grappling with isolation and resentment—setting the stage for a quiet but powerful emotional reckoning. The issue’s striking cover by Jenny Frison captures the weight of that distance, rendered in bold, expressive lines.
