“Crown for a New Batman”

In "Crown for a New Batman," the sudden death of Batman sends shockwaves through Gotham, sparking a rivalry between Robin and Batman, Jr. over who will inherit the mantle. As Batman, Jr. follows a mysterious directive from his father’s will—traveling to the Arctic with an old business partner—he begins to unravel a web of deception that casts doubt on his father’s fate and reveals a truth far more complex than anyone expected. Written by Bob Haney and brought to life with sharp, expressive art by Dick Dillin and Tex Blaisdell, with lettering by Ben Oda, this 1975 classic features a striking cover by Nick Cardy.
