The X-Men investigate a UFO and discover it is being piloted by Madame Medusa, fresh from her stint with the Frightful Four. After a brief scuffle, Medusa decides to join the X-Men to try and regain some insight into her past and recover her lost memories. When the Wizard comes to take her back into the criminal fold, the X-Men fight him off and break his hold over Medusa for good. Medusa leaves to find some answers with the FF. A sheepish Angel returns to the team.
