Archie's Story & Game Digest Magazine #3
In "Hitting the Roof," Veronica makes a splashy return from Hawaii, dazzling the gang with her Hula girl outfit and a dance that quickly turns from fun to frantic. When Betty gets hurt trying to keep up, Archie finds himself unexpectedly paired with Veronica for the evening's dance—leaving the usual romantic tension with a new twist. Written by Frank Doyle and brought to life with Dan DeCarlo’s signature style—pencils and inks by DeCarlo, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida—this 1987 gem captures the classic charm of Riverdale with a playful, tropical flair.
