With time running out, Superman is trapped in a machine designed to shatter his energy into millions of pieces. Meanwhile, Misa and Jimmy Olsen press on in their search for Scorn, unaware of the storm brewing above Bessolo Blvd.
In "Chapter 4: Bolt from the Blue," Superman is torn apart by Die Maschine—only to reassemble himself, fractured into two distinct beings: Superman Red and Superman Blue. Now split, the Man of Steel must confront the consequences of his new duality, each version carrying a different part of his power and purpose.
