While searching for Bolt, Matt and Abby are captured and taken to the lair of the resurrected Nathan Ellery. Ellery is working with a disillusioned scientist who has developed a machine which is able to destroy the minds of the world's leaders simultaneously. Avoiding a number of deadly traps, the Swamp Thing frees his friends. Ellery and the Doctor are killed.
