“Dead Water!”

In "Dead Water!", R.U. Reddy’s victory lap in Louisiana takes a sinister turn when he reunites with an old flame and stumbles upon a horrifying threat: sentient slime unleashed by a corrupt chemical tycoon. Written by Bill Mantlo and brought to life by Alan Kupperberg’s dynamic art, this Team America #6 thriller pits Reddy against a monstrous, mind-controlled menace, with the Marauder’s sudden arrival offering a crucial twist in the fight for survival. The cover by Ed Hannigan and Vince Colletta captures the eerie tension of a 60-cent comic from 1982.
