The Legion #37

Oct 2004 · DC · 2.50 USD; 3.85 CAD
“For No Better Reason, Part Three: A Sense of Confinement”

In "For No Better Reason, Part Three: A Sense of Confinement," the Legion faces a crisis on multiple fronts as the remaining members and cadets struggle to contain chaos in Metropolis while Karate Kid races against time to rally the prisoners on Oasis One. Gail Simone’s writing and Dan Jurgens’ dynamic art bring intensity to the escalating tension, with Devil believing she’s in control after subduing Timber Wolf—though the situation remains far from stable. The cover by Greg Land and Jay Leisten captures the weight of the moment, perfectly framing the stakes of a team stretched thin.

With many of the Legionnaires still busy trying to stop a civil war on Karahdia, it is up to the Legionnaires and Cadets on the ground to get a handle on the situation in Metropolis. Meanwhile Karate Kid has to fight each of the prisoners on Oasis One in order to convince them to help him slow down its descent. And though Infectious Lass takes out two of her partners, Devil thinks she has the situation in control, having put down Timber Wolf.
