With the police in hot pursuit, J.J. barrels through the city in a stolen ambulance with a badly injured Vigilante in the back. He is able to ditch the cops long enough to check Adrian into a hospital under an alias but he and Teresa have to run interference with the paperwork as Captain Hall is looking for any patient admitted with stab and gunshot wounds. Much to the surprise of his doctors and his friends, Adrian quickly heals and sneaks out of the hospital before the authorities can catch up with him.
