“The Worm That Turned to Terror”

In "The Worm That Turned to Terror," Jay Hamilton finds himself entangled in a mysterious romance with Zoe Ann, a woman whose bandaged face hides a secret older than she claims. When she insists she’s 300 years old and running out of a magical youth potion, Jay and his father follow her to meet the sorcerer who sells it—only for the truth to unravel in a twist that redefines the night’s journey. Written by Ed Herron and brought to life with dynamic art by Jack Kirby, with lettering by Joe Letterese, this eerie tale unfolds under Nick Cardy’s haunting cover.

Jay Hamilton woos an actress who spends each night with her face covered in bandages. She claims to be 300 years old and to have a magic potion that keeps her young for a short period of time. Since she has run out of the potion, Jay and his father accompany her to meet the sorcerer who sells her the elixir, but Zoe Ann admits it's all a scam and the men turn the "sorcerer" over to the police.
