Justice League of America: The Bronze Age Omnibus #1
"Snapper Carr—Super-Traitor!" is a standout story from the Bronze Age Omnibus, spotlighting a pivotal moment in the Justice League's history. Written by Len Wein and illustrated with sharp precision by Dick Dillin, with inks by Dick Giordano and colors by Glynis Wein, the tale follows the JLA and JSA as they’re accidentally pulled to a world where the Nazis won WWII—only to be rescued by the Freedom Fighters and drawn into a fight against mind-controlling machines. The cover, a striking piece by Karl Kerschl, captures the tension of the moment, while the story itself delivers a gripping, high-stakes adventure rooted in alternate history and moral complexity.

During an annual meeting between the JLA and JSA, six members and the Red Tornado (accidentally interfering with the transmatter machine that transports the two groups between Earths 1 and 2) are accidentally transported to another Earth, in which the Nazis won World War Two. The seven heroes are able to defeat a small group of Nazi soldiers, but are almost defeated by sonic machines when the Freedom Fighters, led by Uncle Sam, take the heroes away and explain what's going on. The three groups learn of machines around the world controlling everyone's minds, and set about to destroy them all.
